Oh dear, it seems I made something that is impossible to photograph!
It's a rich, sparkly, purple polish, and nothing of that really shows well on my pictures :(
I tried it with my dads cam as well, his camera can capture it I'm sure. But it has like a million options and I didn't know how to use it properly, lol.
I used a lot of polishes, here you can see them all:
From left to right:
Depend 069, Catrice Wrapped Around My Finger, China Glaze Skate Night, China Glaze Stella, Nubar Petunia Sparkle, Zoya Alegra, CND Effects Amethyst Sparkle.
I didn't waste any polish this time and started with a completely empty bottle. I added little bit by bit, and took it slowly so I could see what I wanted to add, that's why I ended up using so much colors.
The result is a very sparkly purple, which leans to red or purple/pink depending on the light. I totally love it!
If you know how CND Effects Amethyst Sparkle and Nubar Petunia Sparkle look, you get the idea of the sparkles and the color of them in this franken. I'll probaby use the Nubar Sparkles more often in frankening, I only needed a little bit to add a lot of glitter :)
I used 2 coats, and a layer of top coat because the glitters in it make it slightly bumpy.
When there's no sun it looks like a deep purple with shimmer, the sparkles only show when you look from nearby. The color is a lot darker than this most of the time.
With the sun on it, this polish comes to live.
I think this is most color accurate most of the time, now imagine a lot of sparkly goodness in it :P
And this is in the lightbox.
Hopefully I manage to capture it better sometime, because my pictures really don't do it justice. As you can see from the amount of pictures, I did try, lol.
And next time I just won't make my franken purple :)
Thanks for stopping by!
