Update: As some of you noticed (thanks for commenting about it!), it looks like some old polish will be back. The numbers 280 and 350 used to belong to London's Weather Forecast and Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans!, and the bottom right polishes look a lot like those 2! Catrice has re-used names/numbers before, but I think they're just bringing back some older polish now.
And 240 used to be Sold Out Forever, which would match with the 3rd from the right. I guess the rest is new though, because they have a higher number.

Oh I can't wait =D And I know a lot of brands are bringing us flakies lately, but Essence Glisten Up! is still my favorite, so I'm very curious how these new Essence flakies will look! And more magnetics that will probably work for stamping again...yes please! The Catrice stuff looks good as well, but the Essence nail art things got most of my attention here =)
The new products should be in stores in February/March, and the products that are discontinued should be half the price now. My local stores had no idea about the changes and the prices are still the same, but that should be adjusted soon then. There's a lot more products that these 2 brands are changing, but those aren't nail-related, so I didn't add them here.
What do you think of these new shinies? :)
Wow, these look so pretty!! I've never seen Essence products before in real life so I guess I can't get them around here. Such a shame, as these look lovely!! :D

When i look at the pictures of new catrice's nail polishes, they looked so familiar...
ReplyDeleteThat's when i saw that the "new" shades, are not really new... I have a lot of them at home already... The only thing that they did, was in the summer they changed them by the nail polishes that are going to be discountinued...
Google the numbers... Like catrice 350... you'll see :)

I love the whole bottom row of the Catrice (is that a Peridot dupe I spot?) as well as that peachy shade from the top row :D Oh... I will hunt these down, ... now my heart is beating faster than it should at my age ;) lol

I think there are more Essence polishes (they will be in Color & Go range but all of the colors will be nude and that will be written on the bottle-nude)

ReplyDeleteYou're totally right about the nude ones, thanks for mentionning it MissDoll! When I get the PR info I get a pic of every single item, I only show the nail stuff but there are a lot of pics. Those nudes were hiding somewhere between them, but added them now! :)

Dammit... Every time! You think you have bought all the polishes you really want from their collection and then they have to change it all. I already have a new wishlist :P Thanks for sharing this, I knew about the Catrice polishes but nothing about Essence yet. Yaaay ^^
ReplyDeleteI think you might be lucky, on the pic it's quite similar to the LWF that I have! And Susana mentionned above as well that 350 looks very familiar too, so it indeed looks like they're re-using some old polish. That's a bit lame if you ask me, but if you're still looking for some of them it's pretty nice, lol.

ReplyDeleteAww I'm sorry I missed the Essence part. I read flakies and...I just cross my fingers :-). I hate how Catrice uses the same numbers, there were already two different versions of Catrice's 240 in our stores (one with much more shimmer).
