Flowers on pink

I was in the mood for something bright and happy, so I went for one of my favorite flower images on a pink base. And that combo did the trick, I'm gonna stamp more often with white on a bright base! :)
As usual, my camera makes this kind of pink look a lot lighter than it actually is, annoying! This one is more dark fuchsia, which makes the white flowers stand out even more.

OPI Kiss Me On My Tulips with Konad White and Bundle Monster plate 224.

What I dislike about Konad White stamping polish, is that when I add top coat it leaves some color in the top coat, making the basecolor a bit lighter. I've tried different top coats, but they all do that with this specific stamping polish. Do you know a top coat or a different white stamping polish that doesn't do that?

Thanks for stopping by and take care!

  2. I love this, the pink is lovely and I'm not a pinky fan but brights are ok and the stamping reminds me of spring and the sun is shining here at the moment so I feel all springy thanks for brightening my day :)

Not sure if it will help with stamping, but Posche, Seche Vite, and Jordana (yes a drugstore brand! haha) Quick SHINE Top Coat all leave nail art alone if you give it about 30 seconds before applying :) I've heard SV was the best for not spreading the stamp, but I have not experienced this myself.

  13. This is great! Shame your camera didn't really capture it properly.

  14. I've been using Sally Hansen whirlwind white to stamp with. I always find that the Konad white smears every time I add top coat. Maybe try that? I love this!

  15. I love white stamping over pink!
What I do when color comes on the brush of topcoat; just wipe the brush off on a piece of paper.
But how come there are no streaks on your design? Whenever I stamp and apply a topcoat, no matter how long I wait, it streaks! :(

  16. Haha, this mani had the same effect on me! Too bad it's getting colder again now though, I wouldn't mind some more sun to go with this mani :)

  22. Thanks for the tips Crystal! SV is my usual top coat, and I love it, except with this specific stamping polish, haha. I don't think I can buy Jordana here, but if I don't find any other easy solution (I don't mind drugstore brands at all, some have great stuff!), I'll order Poshe sometime!

  24. I can't get SH here (or well, I can get a few of them but for crazy prices here, haha), but thanks for the tip, can always swap it or some. And now I have several options I can give a go :)

  25. Try to polish your TC floating! Then it shouldn't streak :) This white doesn't streak either but it just leaves a hint of color that fades the basecolor a little bit.
Polishing floating is that your brush doesn't hit the nail, I think it works best with a thicker TC and don't use too little. Hope this helps, GL!

  26. Looks as though others have spoken their piece, but I usually use Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White on for my white stamps! It seems to work well.

LOVELY mani, by the way! Simple and sweet! <3
