Mona Lisa Is Staring Back

Hi all, here's a mani that I did a while ago :) The basecolor for this mani has a gorgeous shimmer, but the polish was way too sheer. The Ultimate Nudes bottles say "first stroke subtle coverage, second stroke higher coverage", but with just a few coats the result was oh so streaky, yikes! I ended up with 4 coats and had it dry overnight. So yeah, lovely color and all, but I don't think I'll ever wear it again, heh.

Catrice Mona Lisa Is Staring Back stamped with Bundle Monster plate 10 and Konad White polish.

Thanks for looking!

  2. Oh wawww beautiful ! Too bad it doesn't cover that well... Which nude nail polish would you suggest? I'm looking for a beautiful nude colour for my wedding day (I would love to do a subtle stamping like you do with nude and white :) )

  4. I have Nubar Classic camel. It's beautiful and the formula is perfect, opaque in two coats!

Your stamping is so neat, how do you do so near the cuticle? I'm a mess lol

  7. Haha, cleanup does wonders! There's no way I could stamp without stamping my fingers/cuticles as well :) I use polish remover pens, a simple brush can work too, whatever you prefer.

  12. That's really nice. :) Do you think the shimmer is enough that you could use it over a coordinating creme to make it sparkle?

  22. I was looking at this bottle for a while but I just couldn't decide, the color is beautiful but after all it is meant to be sheer. So, thank you for telling me that this one is not for me
