Shimmer Polish Marilyn

Heya! I've showed a bunch of Shimmer Polish glitters before, and there are some amazing glitters in the Shimmer collection, but the one I'm showing today really deserves a post on its own. Why is this one so special then, you ask? Well, it's like China Glaze Ruby Pumps' darker sister, and who doesn't love RP!
When I think of Shimmer Polish, I think of crazy glitterbombs, polishes packed with all kinds of glitters and often in a clear base, and unique colorcombos that end up working great together. But not Marilyn here! Marilyn has a berry-pink colored base that builds up to a burgundy red, and it's packed with red glitter, but it looks like there's some fuchsia and black glitter in it as well. And even though I enjoy the real glitterbombs at times, there's no way I could ever resist a polish like this one!

I used 3 easy coats of Marilyn and 2 coats of top coat. I'll add straight away though (and if you ever tried photographing Ruby Pumps I'm sure you'll know what I mean), it looks SO much better irl! ♥
