Blue foam

Hey guys :) I wanted to use more images of the Bundle Monster Sun Kissed plates (which I've reviewed here), and one of the images that immediatly got my attention back then was an image that looks like sea foam. I also got a new Essence polish recently, a suede according to the bottle, so I figured to use that as base. The polish covered well, it needed 2 thin coats, but unlike the other suedes in my stash, that 2nd coat didn't dry fast at all! And I wouldn't call this finish suede either, I'm not sure what to call this, it's a bit weird, haha. It's a nice blue color though, and top coat solves both the finish as the drying time, so ah well :)

I really like the image, but next time I'd go for different polishes. Have a lovely day & take care!

Spilled green

Hey all! Yet another scheduled post, this one looks sunny but while I'm typing this, I'm already getting in the mood for Xmas manis! For this mani I used a bigger image and randomly stamped parts of it on my nails.

Oily rhinestones

Heya :) You know I don't often use rhinestones, but that doesn't mean I'm not attracted to those sparkly, colorful things! So when I saw these colored rhinestones that looked multichrome, like they were stained by oil, I was eager to try them out!

The rhinestones don't change color like a multichrome polish would, but because they're colored in gradients, they do look like they change color. The colors are really bright (as the photo below shows best) and there's 4 sizes in the wheel, 3 spaces of each size. For this mani I used all but the largest size, for me the biggest ones I used here are already a bit too big, or better said, too high. But it didn't bug me at all with this mani, it felt like a very unique & festive mani! Wouldn't these be perfect for something like New year's Eve?

BornPrettyStore rhinestones

I thought we'd seen it all with rhinestones now, I mean those things come in all sorts of colors, sizes and shapes, but these were completely new to me and I really love the bright colors :)

Essence I ♥ My Blue Jeans with BornPrettyStore rhinestones

I used top coat to "glue" them on my nails, I didn't seal them in with top coat, because this way they were stuck well enough already. I don't see myself using the bigger ones often (although I'm thinking what I could do with these besides decorating nails!), but I think I'll do an accentnail covered in those tiny ones sometime :)

Essence I ♥ My Blue Jeans with BornPrettyStore rhinestones

You can find these BornPrettyStore rhinestones here, a wheel costs $2.39. And as always, coupon code ABJ61 gives 10% off =) What do you think of these, and do you mind the big rhinestones on your nails? Thanks for looking!

Inspired by the bottle

When I was going through my stash hunting for Fall colors, Spruced Up was one of the polishes that got my attention. It's been a while since I used it, and it's such a lovely color! Then I saw the bottle, with the green on the cap and figured a green stamping would look good. And then I found an image that somewhat matched it as well, so here we have it!

Virgin Queen

Sometimes polish makes it near impossible to choose some pictures, and today's polish is definitely one of those! So you'll have to forgive me for posting a lot of pics :) This polish is like a subtle chameleon: it looks silvery-golden-bronze-ish depending on the angle, but can also look a lot more gunmetal grey, and sure, why not add some small bronze flecks and holo effect!

Oh I can't wait to check this one out in proper sunlight!! And the left photo shows the little flecks :)

Virgin Queen is really amazing if you ask me, Adina managed to put so much in 1 polish while keeping it sophisticated and suitable for almost anything! It's perfect for when I'm in the mood for something subtle and less obvious, yet it never gets boring. And because of the basecolor that has a subtle color switch, it works great with my skintone as well (which I can't say of a lot of colors in this range). Oh, and did I already mention that I think it'll work for stamping, and covered in 2 thin coats, and applied as smooth as butter? Lovelovelove it! :)

Queen Of Scots

Hi guys! The next polish from the Elizabeth & Mary collection is Queen Of Scots, and I'm repeating myself here, but again: no base, 2 coats, topcoat. I'm sure that all 5 polishes from this collection will work for stamping, but this one especially, what a fantastic coverage!

Queen Of Scots is a midnight blue that stays blue, it can look really dark but never looks black as you can see on the pic below. And look at that royal blue glow from within, lovely ♥ This one did need the top coat to give it some shine, and because it's so pigmented, you have to be careful with your cuticles. It didn't stain my nails while swatching, but I would wear basecoat with it, just to be safe.

Gloriana

Hey lovelies, here's another Elizabeth & Mary polish for you: Gloriana! And again, no base, 2 coats, with top coat. And yes, this one applied like a dream too, the whole collection does!

Gloriana is a red base packed with golden flecks, and I love that golden twist to it! I used my flash to show the flecks better, because in daylight I kept picking up the lighter reflection, as you can see above.

Here you can see the different sides of Gloriana, it can look like a red, like a more sparkly red, or it can look like a red packed with golden flecks. What I like and what surprised me, is that it stays red with golden, with the amount of flecks I thought it would look a lot more orange. And it's oh so perfect for the coming holidays!

Helloooo most fabulous purple holo in my stash! What can I say, give more sunlight already!! No basecoat, 2 coats, topcoat.

I'm not fully in control of my camera yet when it comes to purples, but I ám very happy with it so far! I know my old cam would've picked this up way more blue, while it's a purple that leans a lot more on the red side, and it's so pretty! And vibrant! And awesome! Purple holo perfection ♥

A England Crown Of Thistles

I had a teeny-tiny bit of sun while swatching, and I bet this polish will be even more jaw-dropping in the Summer. I'm sorry for the lack of holoshots, I dropped my lamp while swatching this collection, but if you have some patience... I'm sure I'll be showing this one again when there's sun! :)
