The Midsummer Night’s Dream collection is an ethereal 7 piece interpretation from the classic Shakespeare play. Our primary visual influences were from the 1988 illustrations by Sylvie Monti found in the children’s retelling by Naomi Lewis
My swatches are with 3 coats and top coat, although some look nice with 2 coats already, if you don't mind a bit (more) visible nail lines. I'll mainly let the pics do the talking here, hope you'll enjoy! ^^
Jewels From The Deep
My favorite of the collection, and I don't think I need to explain why!
This polish has that typical FFC pink/purple shimmer that I always struggle with, my camera just won't capture it on the nails! Hope this pic gives a better idea of that beautiful shimmer. This polish has that pink shimmer as well as a blue shimmer. And those dark flakies, so unique, yum!
This polish dries a little matte, and it usually looks like a beautiful pink with golden shimmer, but as you can see, at times it can lean a little blue-toned purple with green-ish shimmer too!
This feels a little like winter on my nails, thanks to the cooler, blue-ish shimmer in the pale base, packed with holographic glitter.
Night And Silence
Another bottle shot, in an attempt to show you how vibrant and rich this polish is, but it still doesn't capture its full beauty! Another favorite :)
But A Dream
The thermal of the collection, a light (warm) to dark (cold) one, to be precise. Above you can see it cold, below warm, further down you can see the cool tips on warm nails. This was the exception when it comes to application, I used 4 coats here.
This one's somewhat sheer, even at 3 coats, and I couldn't care less... That muted, red-based purple base, with blue shimmer, what a prrretty!
Would you like to get your hands on any of these? I'd love to hear what you think! Thanks for looking and have a lovely weekend!
