Going back to my stamping roots!

When I think back 5 years ago, when I just started stamping, I think of metallics (often China Glaze, their Romantique and Khrome collections to be precise!) and Konad plates. But with all the plates in my stash, and just a couple of those, I haven't touched a Konad plate in quite some time! For this mani I picked a base and stamping polish, then chose an image to go with it. When I saw the result it straight away reminded me of those early blogging years :)

I think it's a shame that Konad hasn't really upped their game throughout the years, I still love some of their images and would've liked to see a lot more of them! They were the top brand back then for me, with high quality images and lots of plates, but not long after, brands like Bundle Monster joined the stamping party with entire plate collections. There's no way they can compete with that! Konad just doesn't bring out nearly enough plates, the images aren't big enough (my thumbnail is already too long), and the plates are expensive! It's too bad, don't you think?
