Morning! Yesterday's mani didn't last long, yesterday evening I wanted to practice dotting a bit more. And I'm glad I did, because it's bleh weather and my nails look like they're dipped in Spring! The flowers gave me a nice way to practice with my dotting tools and see what happens with different pressure on it, that they're all looking different doesn't matter with flowers anyway :) And I could also practice with freehanding a French, so I'll definitely do something like this again =)
I used 2 coats of Essence Fall For Me, added a French with Essence Replay, dotted white with Essence Perfectly True and yellow with Orly Spark. I also used the Essence Express Dry Drops on my top coat again, and this time it worked great! I thought SV dried fast, this seemed to make it even faster, lol. So if I want to stamp or tape after using those I'll just wash my hands in between, see how that works.
Edit, the sun came through so I took some more pics. As you can see on the 2nd pic, I had some tip wear this morning, it seems that it can be caused by those Express Dry Drops. Good to know those can cause that!
Thanks for stopping by :)

looks very sweet!
ReplyDeleteIt does, doesn't it? :) Thanks for commenting!
ReplyDeleteCute! Very nice combo, I wish I had your skills. Tried some kinda polka dot nails last weekend, not such a good idea LOL.
ReplyDeleteI use Essence Express Dry Drops frequently, after INM out the Door TC, and noticed that some polishes have mayor shrinkage after applying, like after a day completely white tips, way worse than with tipwear. Even after wrapping my tips. Haven't figured out yet how to avoid that. But it's da bomb in speed dry!!!
Thanks! And try little flowers I'd say, was way easier, haha.
ReplyDelete*looks at tipwear* Aha! Oh that's good to know, already wondered a bit, I also wrapped my tips but have slight tipwear already. If I do a mani that I'm gonna wear longer I won't use them then, thanks for that info! :)
