Frosted scales

Today's post isn't what I'm actually wearing today, it's a mani that I did a couple of days ago and didn't post yet. For this mani I stamped on Deviantly Daring, but I prefer a simple base to stamp on, and DD isn't. So as I already expected, I found the mani a bit too much! My usual solution for that is to mattify it to tone things down a bit. But instead of a normal matte top coat, I went for Catrice's Frosting top coat, which is a matte TC with a blue shimmer. I think that the hint of blue over the stamping and the change in basecolor pulled it all together :)

China Glaze Deviantly Daring stamped with China Glaze Millenium and MASH plate 39, finished with Catrice Frosting top coat.

You can clearly see the blue in the top coat on my indexfinger on the above pic, and below you can see how it looked without the top coat.

Have a lovely weekend and thanks for looking ♥
